Birthday Gift For SarcasticLeaves: Cowboy!Tobey

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SARCASTICLEAVES!!!!!!!!!!

Here is your picture, of course - Cowboy!Tobey in his room listenin' to his country music! _{Apparently Tobey has a Walkman now, lulz.} I really hope you like it, because I had a lot more fun drawing this one than I normally do! I know there are still some issues that could be better _{which I might've been able to fix but I just didn't notice them at first and now they're bugging me a little, but... if no one's noticing the major problems then I'll just go ahead and NOT point them out...}, but... hey... at least there's a little bit of a background, am I right?! Lol, actually I wish I could've added in more details of Tobey's room, but you've seen the mess that thing is, and I'm not very good at keeping everything on the same angle which is why Tobey's boots don't look like cowboy boots 'cause I couldn't figure out the heel and stuff, so... I decided to quit while I was ahead, so to speak.

Oh yes - there are totally random extra details in this as promised.

_{...You know, I kinda feel like sometime in the future a bunch of new people are gonna join the fandom and get on dA and see all these random Cowboy!Tobey pictures and think that it must be a joke from the show, and then when they finally catch up on the episodes they're just going to be really confused because of the lack of Cowboy!Tobey.}

Does Tobey look older than 10? 'Cause I feel like the cowboy-ness just automatically makes him look older... but I have no idea how to control age in my art.

I'd also like to add a special thanks to *Phageous for showing me some tricks in photoshop which made it so I could actually finish this picture in time... instead of 3 months from now. Seriously, though, they were very helpful and I think it has really added to the picture! I don't normally feel very pleased with my art, but I feel like I can justify counting this one among my few successes... which is good because I'd hate myself if I drew someone something as a gift and thought it turned out poorly.

Once again, this was VERY fun, and I really enjoyed spending extra time on it adding details! It's actually still a mystery to me how I ever got the lineart done in the first place at least with it NOT crashing and burning like I thought it might since I was trying new things for this one... 'cause the coloring was probably one of the longest steps, which usually isn't the case. _{Maybe one of the reasons I think this one was more fun was because my experiments were turning out pretty well for me anyway, so I was energized by the fact that I wasn't hating myself the whole time? I dunno, maybe I'm just rambling now...I felt like there was something else I was going to add to this description... but I forgot.}
