More Season 4 Sketches/Doodles

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I didn't clean these up in photoshop 'cause I'm lazy. So if you notice any of the mistakes, please just... pretend you didn't.

This should probably go in the Scrap folder, but I don't really care enough to throw it in there. Honestly I haven't really been sleeping, and everything I've been doing (work and leisure stuff) has required the computer, so I've been staring at a screen pretty much since the moment I woke up, so really... who the heck knows if in a few hours I'll even remember drawing and posting these.

That being said, I really don't know if these are good or not. I mean, at least as far as my art typically is.

I just spent a long time today working on non-WordGirl art, and it wasn't that stressful, but it was definitely a very different experience, so then all I wanted to do was just sit down and scribble some scenes from actual episodes that I could get reference for. Because it's nice to use reference as a crutch and also when I draw things that actually happened in the show, no one can call me crazy for making up random fanservice crap.

So these are just a bunch of things from Season 4 that I liked. Not everything I liked, obviously, 'cause I haven't drawn any Tobey yet! But that will probably happen eventually. These are just some doodles that I've been meaning to draw for awhile, so today I finally sat down and finished these all. Literally I did them all today. Well... depending on what time zone you're in I guess. But I just working on them for hours at a time.

Honestly I'm just glad I finally got around to drawing some TimxSally, though, because they've GOT to be the most canon pairing that could ever exist on the show! Those guys are freakin' adorable! Why is there not shipping art of them all over the place, I ask you?! Oh yeah, and I also made myself finally draw TJ. It's funny, I never disliked TJ, but I never really thought his character was very relatable until Season 4. But I totally relate to trying to hide being a crazy fan of a kid's show like he does, and also the desire to want to just roll out of bed without making myself look nice. Oh, and a couple of random thoughts - 1.) does anyone think he's called TJ because he could be Tim Jr.? and 2.) has anyone else noticed that his voice was SUPER high pitched in Season 1, and now it's a little deep for a boy his age? I mean, I like it better now, but it's just interesting... You know I'm really struck by how well Dannah Phirman, Patton Oswalt, Tom Kenny, Ryan Raddatz, and Maria Bamford are able to play children. It's very convincing. I also finally related to The Birthday Girl in her latest episode! I mean, I think I always liked how other characters played off of her more than the character herself, but as someone who just loves pets of all sorts (and someone who probably WOULD keep an energy monster as a pet if they had the chance just because weird things are fun ) and who is absolutely devastated when their pets get loose... man, I just finally felt like she was so much more... normal. I dunno. Her character had more reality to her because she seemed like she really was a kid for once instead of just her typically bratty, crazed self. I like seeing the other sides of characters.

...Random side note - I don't know where my ability to draw Two Brains went, but I think it's hiding somewhere because I had so much trouble with him. You can tell I was getting agitated because his lines are darker than all the other sketches. But yeah... for some reason he's been giving me a lot of trouble lately. Although it's probably just because I draw him more often that I tend to notice when I make slight mistakes... but I dunno... I've just been more inclined to draw other characters. I guess I've still drawn a bunch of art of him recently, but I feel like I've hardly drawn him in forever, aside from that one picture where he was wearing all those winter clothes. Which doesn't count 'cause I was kinda doing more of my own style there. XP </excuses>

So yeah, it's kinda funny because I liked the new Tobeysode more than the new Lady Redundant Woman episode, yet all the art I got ideas for was based off the LRW one. The funny thing is that Lady Redundant Woman herself actually wasn't really the entertaining point of her episode. I think TJ and Mr. Botsford were really the stars of that segment. Yet somehow most of the art ideas I got were still for Lady Redundant Woman even though she hardly did anything. Another random thought - does anyone else think her car was totally stupid? Oh yeah, and her license plate had three zeros on it. I was like "OH I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE, SOUP2NUTS". But yeah, even though I normally relate to her, I would NOT just pull out into oncoming traffic the way she did - that was insane. I was all "SHE'S GONNA DIE!!!" and then I remembered I was watching PBS. Although I could relate to the way she was ranting.

Wow, my brain is totally just spewing random thoughts right now. I feel like this whole description sounds as idiotic as I feel... man, I typically don't ramble this much, I think... hmmm... I'm probably gonna reread this description after I finally decide to sleep, and I'm gonna realize it's completely incoherent or something. OH WELL. This is the good thing about being tired - I really don't give a crap.
